Here are some things you need to know.
Hotel pickup is typically around 1 pm to 1:30 pm and can be as early at 12:30 PM depending on your location. Tours run 3.5 to 4.5 hours. In an afternoon tour you visit the same number of wineries as a tour that starts earlier in the day but there is no stop for lunch. By doing all your wine tasting after lunch you can do things in the morning and enjoy another outing in the evening. Our afternoon tours can be booked the same day up to 12 PM. If you are booking a tour for the same day as arrival, you should arrive at your hotel by around noon the day of the tour to check-in. If you can’t check-in early, then you can check-in after the tour around 6 PM. We will send you a text message 2 hours prior to the tour with the exact pickup time so you can get yourself ready. If you call us earlier, we can estimate or confirm your pickup time. It is highly recommended you have lunch before the tour. We need to drop off at your hotel after the tour so you don’t have to drive after drinking. Alternately you can be dropped off somewhere else like downtown and take a taxi back to your hotel. We will deliver your wine and other purchases to the hotel if needed.

If you haven’t booked a hotel yet, book the hotel first then book the wine tour. Thanks to online booking and instant confirmation you can do this almost simultaneously. Pickup location is needed when booking a wine tour online. We pickup from Kelowna or West Kelowna hotels. The closer you are to downtown Kelowna, the later the pickup time will be. How long does it take to get to Kelowna?
The Google Map app on your phone can tell you that. Keep in mind the travel time can vary depending on the time of day and time of year. Traffic is very busy in Kelowna during the summer months. If you are travelling from a long distance, reconsider having a tour on the same day. Leave yourself some extra time. If you choose a hotel or B&B on the outer edges of Kelowna or West Kelowna, the required pickup time will be much earlier so keep that in mind.
