Onsite Bike Rentals
Myra Canyon Bike Rentals offers you the best service of onsite bike rentals; located right at the entrance of the trail. We have top-notch bikes with splendid features in each machine. To avoid availability issues,make advance reservation online especially for July and August. Otherwise, we rent on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. The renting process itself is very convenient; all you have to do is to drive right up the Parking Lot of the Myra Station trail and rent your bikes there.

Convenience
On one of British Columbia’s wonders. Experience a part of the historical Kettle Valley Railway route built between 1912-1914. This well-established, interactive trail is over 18 trestles and through 2 tunnels, offers spectacular views of Myra Canyon and Okanagan Lake. The track is located at an elevation of over 1.200 meter, it is relatively level and the full circuit of 24km can be cycled in under 4 hours. We offer new, branded comfort bikes in sizes for adults and children, tag-alongs and child trailers to pull the little ones. We also offer guided and self-guided tours to Penticton; a wonderful day trip. Rental periods; morning from 9am-1pm, afternoon 1:30-5:30pm and evening rentals in July and August from 5-8pm.

Hours of operation
7 days a week from May 18th until October 10th from 9am-5:30pm. In July and August also open in the evening from 5pm-8pm
We rent tag-alongs and child trailers. Tag-along suitable for 4+; child trailer for 1-5 years old. Both rented in combination with a rented adult bicycle.
Child trailers are suitable for 1-2 children and can carry up to 80lbs.

We offer the most comfortable and easy-to-handle bikes. From the seating till the shifting of the gears, everything is seamless and a delight for the trip through Canada’s scenic beauty. The bikes are well adjusted and offer a lot of flexibility for a smooth ride on the trail.

Different Sizes of Bicycles
Everyone has their own specifications in terms of bicycle size – five different sizes are offered here and each bike is suitable for people of certain height bracket. The sizes on offer include:
Kid’s bicycles– rent $30(4 hours), $49 (full day)
Small kid’s bicycle has 20” wheels and are offered to children of 7+ years old.  Large kid’s bicycle has 24” wheels and are offered to children of 9+ years old

Adult bicycles– rent $39(4 hours), $69 (full day)
Small: this is the smallest size and it caters to people with a height between 5’0” and 5’4” (150-162cm)
Medium: this is the average size and is ideal for people with a height of 5’4” to 5’7” (162-170cm)
Large: large sized bikes are offered for people who have a height of 5’7” to 6’0” (170-185cm)
Extra Large: this is the largest size offered and is suitable for people who are taller than 6’0” (185cm)

Tag-alongs and Child BicycleTrailers– rent $29 (4 hours), $49 (full day)
A Tag-along can be attached to an adult bicycle and is suitable for children aged 4-7 years. The tag-along allows the child to pedal as well. For younger children, we have the Child Bicycle Trailer which can seat 1 or 2 children (1-5 years old) within the total weight limit of 80 lbs (36.5 kg). Both the Tag-along and Child Trailer can only be rented along with a rented adult bicycle.

Tour 1
Guided and Self-Guided Magnificent Myra Canyon Trestles & Tunnel Tour
4 hour tour

This historical wonder of the Kettle Valley Railway is a 24 kilometer tour that will take you across 18 trestles and 2 tunnels. This relatively flat trail displays spectacular views of Kelowna and surrounding environment while its interactive trail keeps it exciting for the whole duration. This is a must do for anyone coming to the Okanagan!

A Guided Tour includesbike rental and helmet and costs $75 per person for a minimum of 2 people. We will require a minimum of 48 hour notice for a reservation. Due to the heavy involvement of staff/organization, there will be no refund if you cancel the reservation.

A Self-Guided Tour includes a bike rental and helmet and costs $39 per person; you can start at 9am and at 1:30pm. For the period of July and August, you will have the option for an amazing sunset tour from 5-8pm!

Tour 2
Guided and Self-Guided Tour to Naramata (Penticton) Full day

This 74 kilometer tour starts at Myra Station where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Okanagan, learn about the history of the Kettle Valley Railway through the interactive trail and ride over 18 trestles and through 2 tunnels! The Tour continues to Chute Lake where there is a restaurant with burgers, coffee and delicious homemade pie. Beyond Chute Lake, you will learn about the many rock ovens that were used to cook for the workers and encounter the 489 meter Adra tunnel. The Kettle Valley then follows through the Naramata Bench, where there will be another opportunity for mesmerizing views of the wineries and the Okanagan Lake. We/You will finish the Tour at Hillside Winery where a complimentary wine tasting is offered. The trail has a slight decline throughout the entire 74 kilometers, making it a great event for a wide range of people.

A Guided Tour including transportation form your location in Kelowna or West Kelowna to the Myra Canyon and transportation from Hillside Winery to your accommodation. We will provide a bicycle and helmet, spare parts, tools, drinks and snacks. Cost is $150 per person with a minimum of 2 people. Groups of 3-5 people will pay $125 per person; groups over 6 people will pay $110 per person. Cost for the guide is $150.
A Self-Guided Tour cost is $150 per person with a minimum of 2 people. Groups of 3-5 people will pay $125 per person; groups over 6 people will pay $110 per person. There will be no guide.
Prices do not include 5% GST.

Large Groups and Schools
We understand the complications of large groups and therefore we offer flexible starting times with a special price to match. Only groups of 10+ people will qualify for this category. We will arrange group deals for any combination of rental, with or without transportation.

Onsite Concession Stand
Myra Canyon Bike Rentals is not just limited to bike rental services, but we also offer snacks, drinks and souvenirs.

Cooperative and Always Available
Myra Canyon Bike Rentals has a very co-operative staff that will offer you exclusive services. Timings are 9am to 5:30pm all 7 days of the week. This year, there will be extra rental period at Myra Station in the evening from 5pm to 8pm in the months of July and August.
