Go to Downtown Kelowna

Kelowna has a well developed downtown. The lakeside to the north of the bridge has many parks, beaches and a lakeside promenade that extends for several blocks. Downtown is the home of the arena and cultural district plus a wide variety of storefront restaurants and shops. This area is popular with visitors and locals.

Do a sightseeing hike or walk

Experience history, breathtaking panoramas and excellent hiking or biking trails in the mountains surrounding Kelowna. You have many levels of hiking options in the Okanagan. Most popular areas are Knox Mountain that overlooks downtown and the Historic Myra Canyon on the famous Kettle valley Railway, located south of the city in the mountains.

Along HWY 97 is the region’s largest indoor mall, Orchard Park Mall.  It is filled with over 170 stores ranging from fashion, accessories, shoes, beauty products, and electronics. There is also a Costco, and a Walmart, London Drugs and Canadian Tire in Kelowna and West Kelowna. Downtown Kelowna is also a major shopping area.
